High School
Apex Learning® offers a complete high school curriculum to meet graduation requirements in math, science, English, social studies, and world languages. Because students come to high school at varying levels of readiness, Apex Learning has designed its digital curriculum with multiple pathways. Foundations Courses provide a bridge to high school-level coursework and feature structured remediation for students not working at grade level. Core Courses focus on building essential skills and content knowledge to support success for both struggling and mainstream students. Comprehensive Courses offer a college preparation path designed for motivated students seeking to build skills and content knowledge in preparation for undergraduate study. Advanced Placement Courses are designed to meet higher education expectations of a college-level course and prepare students to demonstrate achievement through success on the AP* exams. Additionally, Apex Learning Exam Prep Courses help students to prepare for success on high-stakes exams.
Middle School
Apex Learning digital curriculum offers a range of solutions to support students in grades 6 to 8. Foundations Courses target skills and strategies that must be mastered for students to successfully transition to high school. Math Foundations II was specifically developed to align to the NCTM focal points for middle school. Select courses in math, science, social studies, and world languages align with middle school program offerings. Beyond BooksŪ supplementary curriculum provides valuable resources across subject areas for teachers seeking to more effectively engage and motivate students to higher levels of achievement.
Upper Elementary
Success in mathematics starts in the elementary grades. The Apex Learning Fundamental Math course was specifically developed for students in grades 3 to 5. The "discovery-confirmation" model of instruction makes extensive use of graphics, animation, and interactive exercises to engage young students as they master skills and develop conceptual understanding.
